Gerard B Fantastic show so far. Excited to see where it goes from here. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Christina O The most beautiful, moving show I have seen in a long time. Treat yourself. Shut out all outside noise and allow yourself to occupy this hotel along with Alexy (sp). It is a journey you will be glad you undertook. I am going to never want it to end.... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review David B Some had queried EMcG for the lead role - how wrong they were. I'm assured it is faithful to the book so far Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review William N Another DEI production that makes the setting feel awkward. McGregor gives a worthy performance but the material is boring; lunch conversations with friends, followed by dinner conversations with friends, with flashback scenes intertwined. Had to tap out, there are better things to do. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review Thoki and Nathan M Ewan McGregor’s acting shines as always and makes this series worth finishing. It naturally feels uncomfortable watching this series, however. Given the storyline exemplifies the socio-cultural insanity of Russia’s Stalinism, watching it during our current epoch/cycle of Russian insanity, makes it sit a bit uneasy. But beyond that there is something really poignant about this coming out now and watching it now and realizing how crazy Russia has always been since the Vikings sailed the rivers and founded the place. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Alex H Great show so far, although needlessly diverse cast when everyone knows 1920 Russia was not. Ewan McGregor carries the show as usual. Defo worth a watch for a fun show set in a turbulent period of Russian history. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Verne Gay Newsday An inert, talky bore. Rated: 1.5/4 Apr 8, 2024 Full Review Emily Zemler Observer The events unfold with a deft visual and tonal style, augmented by McGregor’s spot-on performance, which shifts effortlessly between showmanship and vulnerability. Apr 3, 2024 Full Review Mark Kermode Kermode & Mayo's Film Review It's very easy to watch. Apr 2, 2024 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba McGregor’s performance alone would be enough to make A Gentleman in Moscow compelling, but there’s a great story brewing, too. Apr 9, 2024 Full Review Alison Rowat The Herald (Scotland) Ewan McGregor took up the challenge, moustache and all, and succeeded handsomely. There’s a twinkle in McGregor’s eye that’s been desperate for an outing for a while now (as far back as Trainspotting, perhaps?), and here he had the chance to let it loose. Apr 8, 2024 Full Review Andrew Murray The Upcoming A Gentlemen in Moscow expertly strikes a balance between light-hearted love story and violent historical drama to deliver a slice of remarkable television.
